The Visible Human Interactive Atlas is a powerful, web-based application, developed by the Center for Human Simulation, which provides unparalleled views of human anatomy. By loading models of selected anatomical structures, and manipulating an image plane, unique images of human anatomy are created realtime and loaded into your browser window.

Figure 1 below shows the VH Interactive Atlas, with the list of available anatomic structures on the right and the corresponding, selected models in 3D on the left. Additionally, the blue and gray plane may be manipulated in any direction to affect the oblique section on the right in Figure 2.

Additional features of the VH Interactive Atlas include structure identification by mouse over, measurement by mouse click, zooming in/out, and ability to export JPEGs and save states.
