Digital anatomy databases are extremely useful in their ability to demonstrate anatomical relationships.  This issues featured movies show an example of Visible Human Anatomy that approximately corresponds to a radial array EUS examination of the pancreas head.  This type of study is particularly good at evaluation of the common bile duct.  EUS examinations show a posterior to anterior orientation at the level of the ampulla, so the pancreas is generally to the left and inferior to the EUS probe.  This can be appreciated by looking at Video 1Video 2 shows an example of a real time EUS examination.

Video Clip 1: Visible Human data showing the area around the duodenum at the pancreas head.

Video Clip 2: EUS video in a patient with a previous biliary sphincterotomy.
