This issues featured movie shows a series of images generated from the Visible Human dataset as presented in the VH Dissector (www.toltech.net) and the oblique maker. The movie shows construction of the mediastinum, and then the anatomy of the subcarinal space. The film progresses to show 180 degree rotation of the anatomy to an orientation that is then presented from a radial array EUS examination at the level of the left atrium. This movie links 3-dimentional models, cross section anatomy and an actual patient exam in an attempt to demonstrate the anatomical relations within the mediastinum.
